Cooking Challenge Day #62 – Parmesan Garlic Tortilla Chips

In her post about these Parmesan Garlic Tortilla Chips, Jessica had this to say, “Watch them carefully so they do not burn.”  She made the directions crystal clear and yet somehow I couldn’t figure out a way to follow them.  And so this was the result of the first batch.

And while technically that means I completed the cooking challenge for the day (cook one recipe a day from How Sweet It Is) I knew I wouldn’t be okay if I stopped there, so I made another batch…and this one turned at much better.  And tasty!

Things I Learned on Day #62…

- I remind my students all of the time to follow directions.  I should take my own advice.

- Is it okay to count salsa as a serving of fruits/vegetables? (Okay so it’s not something I learned but if I had the answer then it would be something I had learned)
